What a gorgeous nugget! I wish I lived closer to your area. I'd love to do a little prospecting out there. I've been out west many times, but never actually tried my hand at prospecting while there. Only in places back east like Arkansas and North Carolina. Though I've heard tell there's some gold right here in Tennessee, and not too far from me. This is definitely the wrong time of year to be chasing it though. 11 degrees F would be some pretty cold weather for panning. 😄
