THE VILLAGE DIARY:
I suspected as much, I didn't have to pull the RUNES to guess that we wouldn't manage to capture any wild horses.
It's not for lack of trying, and I counted 47 attempts, all unsuccessful, our young farmers did their utmost, they put all their energy into it.
The main thing is that we didn't injure any of us or the horses, and we were all very amused by the spectacle.
We'll leave these magnificent horses to their freedom, perhaps it's for the best.
We'll be moving south again, heading for the coast with a good supply of food, and leaving this place uninhabitable due to the swarming mosquitoes.
We've also collected wicker and will be making baskets at the end of the day when we camp. It won't make us rich, but it's the only idea we have at the moment.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Je m'en doutais un peu, je n'ai pas eu à tirer les RUNES pour deviner que nous n'arriverions pas à capturer de chevaux sauvages.
Ce n'est pas faute d'avoir essayé, et j'ai compté 47 tentatives, toutes infructueuses, nos jeunes fermiers ont fait leur possible, ils y ont mis toute leur énergie.
Le principal est que nous n'ayons pas eu de blessés parmi nous ni parmi les chevaux, et le spectacle nous a tous beaucoup amusés.
Nous laissons ces magnifiques chevaux à leur liberté, c'est peut être mieux ainsi.
Nous allons reprendre notre chemin vers le sud à destination de la côte avec un bon stock de vivres et quitter ce lieu inhabitable en raison des moustiques qui pullulent.
Nou savons aussi collecté de l'osier et nous fabriquerons des paniers en fin de journée lors de nos campements. Cela ne nous rendra pas riches, mais c'est la seule idée que nous ayons pour le moment.
Heureusement il nous reste un stock de bougies, de bière, de rhum et d'outils, sans compter nos armes qui ont une certaine valeur.
Nou savons hâte de trouver bientôt un village pour avoir des informations sur la progression de l'épidémie Z et sur le lieu où nous pourrons trouver un bateau.
