It's day 3 of the 10-day treasure hunt in LE VILLAGE.
As usual, there's 1 HSBI to be won in each post, but whoever wins the most victories over the 10 days (at least 2), will receive the treasure (5 HSBI) as a bonus.
At the moment we have 2 potential winners.
In the event of a tie, the treasure will be shared, rounded up.
Today I'm proposing the guess the number game.
THE GIVEAWAY:
It's open to everyone and gives you the chance to win 1 HSBI. Today's challenge is to guess a number or be the closest.
To take part, simply enter a number between 0 and 99 as a comment (making sure it hasn't already been chosen).
The reference number will be the last two digits after the decimal point of the closing price of the Adventure Gold token in USD on coingecko.com this evening Thursday August 1, 2024 at midnight UTC.
Last night's number for example was 21 with the closing price at: $0.899621.

THE VILLAGE DIARY:
Our convoy of villagers and survivors of epidemic Z is nearing its destination.
According to the treasure map in our possession, our last stop will be a port not far from here.
But before we can consider taking a boat, we need to find enough money to pay for the crossing for all of us, which is the aim of our treasure hunt.
We had spotted a disused mine marked with a cross on the map, it wasn't far from our route and we found it easily.
However, it's in very poor condition and exploration will be tricky, as we don't want any accidents.
As soon as we entered, we found some half-broken crates full of stones, but this isn't our treasure - that would be too good!
We don't know what the miners used to do here, but they stopped working a long time ago. There's an atmosphere of abandonment, with here and there traces of a forgotten presence, rusty tools and shreds of fabric.
We're going to stay together, and I'll be writing down the mine layout on the papers in my pockets as we go along.
I hope we don't have any bad encounters.
So far we've only seen rats, which fled as we approached.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Notre convoi de villageois et de rescapés de l'épidémie Z est tout proche de sa destination.
D'après la carte au trésor en notre possession notre dernière étape sera un port non loin d'ici.
Mais avant d'envisager prendre un bateau il nous faut trouver de quoi payer la traversée pour nous tous, c'est le but de notre chasse au trésor.
Nous avions repéré une mine désaffectée marquée d'une croix sur la carte, elle n'était pas très loin de notre route et nous l'avons trouvée facilement.
Par contre elle est en très mauvais état et l'exploration sera délicate, nous ne voulons pas d'accidents.
Dès l'entrée nous avons trouvé des caisses, à moitié cassées et pleines de cailloux, ce n'est pas notre trésor, ce serait trop beau, il nous faudra aller fouiller plus loin, équipés de torches.
Nous ignorons ce que les mineurs exploitaient ici, mais il y a bien longtemps qu'ils ont cessé le travail, il règne une atmosphère d'abandon avec çà et là des traces d'une présence oubliée, des outils rouillés, des lambeaux de tissu.
Nous allons rester groupés et je noterai sur les papiers dans mes poches le plan de la mine au fur et à mesure de notre progression.
J'espère que nous ne ferons pas de mauvaise rencontre.
Jusqu'ici nous n'avons vu que des rats qui ont fui à notre approche.
