THE VILLAGE DIARY:
We've set up camp along the path leading south to the ocean.
This region is not conducive to long-term settlement, although it seems to be spared the Z epidemic, partly due to the presence of water on all sides, but also to the absence of inhabitants who could be vectors.
The masters of this place are the mosquitoes, who are constantly harassing us, and we have to rub ourselves with rosemary to keep them at bay.
We've been able to carry out repairs and maintenance work on our carts, and fishing has been good, as has hunting - rabbits abound here.
A herd of wild horses approached our camp, probably curious to see their congeners accompany us. We don't have any horse-training specialists, but some of us are keen to try and capture a few of them.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Nous avons établi un campement le long du chemin qui nous conduit vers le sud à destination de l'océan.
Cette région n'est pas propice à une installation sur le long terme même si elle semble épargnée par l'épidémie Z, en partie en raison de la présence d'eau de tous côtés mais aussi par l'absence d'habitants qui pourraient en être vecteurs.
Les maitres de ces lieux sont les moustiques qui nous harcellent en permanence et nous devons nous frotter avec du romarin pour les tenir à distance.
Nou savons pu effectuer les réparations et travaux d'entretien sur nos charriots, et la pêche a été bonne, de même que la chasse, les lapins pullulent par ici.
Une harde de chevaux sauvages s'est approchée de notre campement, probablement curieux de voir leurs congénères nous accompagner. Nous n'avons pas de spécialiste du dressage de chevaux mais certains d'entre nous ont envie d'essayer de capturer quelques uns d'entre eux.
J'ai le souvenir que ça ne s'était pas très bien passé avec les chèvres sauvages, mais pourquoi ne pas essayer.
Il faudrait en effet que nous songions à collecter des biens de valeur à échanger pour payer notre voyage en bateau vers l'ile salvatrice qui est notre destination finale, loin des zombies et de l'épidémie.
Je vais commencer à recenser tout ce qui a de la valeur sur les papiers que j'ai dans mes poches.
