THE VILLAGE DIARY:
We've been away from our village in the north of the continent for several weeks now, fleeing the zombie invasion caused by the epidemic that had broken out in the mountains.
Our plan was to go all the way south and find a ship that would take us to an island, an idea that came to us when we found a cargo of rum bottles from the island of Taka and the label representing it.
This hope carried us through the voyage, which was not without its perils.
By moving away from the hotbed of infection, we put distance between ourselves and the zombies, and while we haven't seen any for several weeks, we don't feel safe on this continent.
The discovery of a treasure map gave us wild hope of becoming rich and being able to travel easily as soon as we found the first port.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Nous avons quitté notre village dans le nord du continent depuis plusieurs semaines maintenant fuyant l'invasion de zombies due à l'épidémie qui s'était déclarée dans les montagnes.
Notre projet était d'aller tout au sud et de trouver un navire qui nous conduirait sur une ile, cette idée nous est venue en trouvant une cargaison de bouteilles de rhum provenant de l'ile Taka et leur étiquette qui la représentait.
Cet espoir nous a porté tout au long du voyage qui n'a pas été sans péril.
En nous éloignant du foyer d'infection, nous avons mis de la distance entre les zombies et nous, et si nous n'en avons pas vu depuis plusieurs semaines, nous ne nous sentons pas en sécurité sur ce continent.
La découverte d'une carte au trésor nous a donné le fol espoir de devenir riches et de pouvoir voyager facilement dès le premier port trouvé.
Malheureusement les quelques pièces d'or que nous avons trouvé ne représentent pas un trésor, et il n'est pas facile de trouver un bateau à destination des iles.
Nous avons cependant trouvé une solution, mais cela prendra du temps, nous participons à la construction d'un grand bateau et en échange de notre travail, nous obtiendrons la possibilité d'embarquer pour une grande traversée.
Notre campement est installé sur le chantier naval, nous en avons bien pour un mois je pense avant que le bateau puisse être mis à l'eau. Nous allons nous consacrer à cette tâche et j'ai bien peur que nous n'ayons rien à raconter avant qu'elle soit terminée.
