Hello, Splinterlands enthusiasts! On this occasion, I am here to meet the Splinterlands social media challenge by sharing my journey and achievements at the end of the season we just concluded. This season provided valuable experiences worth sharing, especially for those who participate in battles in two ranked modes: Wild and Modern.
In the previous season, I participated in two ranked modes: Wild and Modern. In the Wild mode, I managed to reach Diamond rank, whereas in the Modern mode, my achievements were still around Bronze and Silver. My main focus last season was on the Wild mode. The reason was that I wanted to experience the intense battles there after the new policy requiring the purchase of a Wild Pass was implemented. This policy aimed to reduce the number of bots participating in the game by imposing additional costs on those using a large number of bots.
My experience in Wild Ranked was quite interesting. By the end of the season, I had accumulated a total of 20,000 Glint. So, what did I do with all that Glint? I decided to open Rare Draws and Common Draws only. The main goal was to level up my summoner. By opening Rare Draws, the chances of getting a soulbound summoner are higher, which greatly helps in leveling up the summoner.
The results from opening Rare Draws and Common Draws were quite satisfying. I managed to level up my summoner to level 5 for each element. For those who want to see the details of my rewards, you can visit the following links:
Aside from the summoner level-up, I noticed a difference between playing the two ranked modes. In Modern Ranked, the amount of SPS (Splinterlands Shards) earned per battle was higher compared to Wild Ranked. This became an additional motivation for me to focus more on the Modern mode in the upcoming seasons.

Experiencing these two ranked modes provided a deeper understanding of the dynamics of Splinterlands. I encountered different challenges in each mode, which undoubtedly enriched my gaming experience. With the summoner level-up, I feel more prepared to face battles in the next season, especially in the Modern mode, which I plan to participate in more frequently.
For this season, I decided to postpone purchasing the Wild Pass and will try it again in the following season. My focus now is to see how my performance fares in the Modern mode. With careful strategy and preparation, I hope to reach higher ranks and earn more valuable rewards.
