The majority of the world’s population are consumers of the internet and usually they consume most of the time on their gadgets that are powered by the internet namely cell phones, tablets, laptops, Pc’s, Smart Tv’s and even smart watches. Some companies have come up with the idea why not use the usage of the internet to their advantage by selling this data to people who might be interested in knowing the wants, needs, habits, likes/dislikes and even these days since the advent of AI technology AI companies are desperate for this data to build on their AI systems. This is where comes the arrival of bandwidth sharing applications lets discuss the current three most popular ones in the market and am going to be discussing their pros and cons as well.

HoneyGain

Honeygain is an application that works on both on your desktop and your android/ios mobile devices but at least for me you cannot find honeygain on the googleplay store so you need to download its apk from its website directly and usually android will tell you it is a dangerous application. Honeygain gives you earning for sharing your internet bandwidth with them which they sell to different companies that are looking for this internet data which you decided to willingly sell this data to them in the first place. I have made over 35 dollars on Honeygain in the period of 2+ years of consistently using it on my laptop which means my laptop would be on 24 hours a days any ways so I decided to get some side income from downloading and using this application here is my referral link if you would like to try it out.

Pros:

  • The honeygain application on your device is pretty light weight so it basically never uses your pc or cell phone resources that much which your device cannot handle.
You can get payouts via both jumptask which is a crypto token and also via paypal.
  • Honeygain has a good referral system where you get 20 percent of your referrals earnings for life.

Cons:

  • The majority of people would say it took me over 2+ years to make a mere 35 dollars so this effort is not worth it well if you are one of those people then kindly stay away as the profits can take a long time to accumulate.
  • Honeygain used to have a great system of collecting honeypot points every day after sharing 15mb of data in the form of some times 5 to 100 points per day but these days the maximum points you can get is 5 points.

Peer2profit

Peer2profit gives you revenue by sharing your internet data with them and it used to have a dedicated application for both pc and cellphones but these days you can download its application on your pc and cellphones but to collect information like earnings and even for getting payouts you need to go to their telegram which can be set people off a bit if you do not like using telegram. In using peer2profit for about an year I have made only 6 dollars off of it. If you interested in checking out Peer2profit then use my referral link here:

Pros:

  • Peer2profit pays via many cryptocurrencies and the minimum threshold is a mere 2 dollars.
  • Peer2profit gives you 50 percent of revenue share from the people you brought in as referrals.
  • Peer2profit application on your devices is not resource hungry.

Cons:

  • Peer2profit does not have a system where you can collect daily login points.
  • Peer2profit does not give out payments via Paypal.
  • While checking important information like earnings and for collecting your payout you must use telegram application which might getting people upset.

Grass

Right now I am most excited about this project known as “Grass” and they claim that they use your internet bandwidth data to sell to AI companies only. The reason why I am excited about this is because I made round about 3600 Epoch 4 points in mere 48 hours of usage which when I calculated if you consider 1 epoch point worth 0.0016 dollars then I made round about 5.76 dollars in total which is a massive amount atleast for me. Right now you can download the chrome application of grass and connect it to your account to start it running. The bad news however is that right now there is no official way to get your payouts but the good news is grass is listed on various crypto exchanges. If you are interested into Grass then please consider joining via my referral link here:

Pros:

  • On my 30mb of fiber optics DSL I made accumulated over 3600 points on grass application in round about 48 hours which is a lot of money if we consider the price of 1 point to 0.0016 dollars.
  • Some how people are convinced to join via your referral link on this one and you get 20 percent of their points for life time which is a great deal really considering you make massive points like 1800 per day from my experience.

Cons:

  • There are ways to withdraw but these are not recommended practices by the official Grass team so I will not be discussing them here however officially there is no way to withdraw your points right now.

Conclusion

After reading this piece I am gonna make two separate schools of thoughts on this one:

Scenario 1: Why waste time sharing your internet bandwidth with companies for a very few amount of money?

Scenario 2: This is a great earning opportunity since at least it will pay part of my internet bill some day.

No matter which school of thought you belong to one thing is for sure every body is trying to find ways to earn money and you cannot deny the fact that these internet bandwidth sharing apps does give out payments to their users so if you not sailing on their ship I feel you are missing out on an easy earning opportunity but I want you to decide for your self whether this is a good idea or not.

have you considered theta edge node?

Will check it out thanks, please tell me more about it and how does it pay and is it fast in accumulating points.

you would need a lot of theta tokens to run an edge node alone but you can join a pool by staking theta , f eks thetaboard,io. the pay is in TFUEL which you can also stake and earn. there are significant minimum requirements for staking but the pay is very good and they have had excellent airdrops. they have been around for a while but not in the limelight. there's a lot of AI development and an edge cloud. there should be a launch this month of some major developments. check it out.

I will bookmark your comment so I can do further research on this.

the website for the theta network is www.thetatoken.org they have three tokens THETA ranked in the mid 50's on coinmarketcap, TFUEL and TDROP

Thank you so much for sharing this website with me.

my pleasure. with any luck this should really take off (but that is what they all say)
