🎇 SUBJECT:
WHEN GOD BECOMES YOUR MEDITATION
📕TODAY'S TEXT:
Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long (Psalm 119:97).
🔑🔐 KEY VERSE:
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).
💞 CENTRAL TRUTH:
It will be very difficult to live to please God if you don't meditate on His word.
🖊️ MAIN DISCOURSE:
If you wish to forget God, forget His word. But if His word becomes the object of your meditation, it will deliver you from the corruption that is prevalent in this world.
In our text for today, the psalmist exclaimed, "Oh how I love your law! All day long it is my meditation".
If the word of God is seated in your heart, it will be difficult for darkness to reign in your life.
You can go ahead to do what you want to do if there is nothing you can remember that has what it takes to stop you from doing it.
Sometimes you may want to do something wrong but suddenly remember someone, maybe your father, mother or wife as a result you'll retrace your steps.
It takes a man that meditates on God and His word to say NO to the pleasures and lust of this world.
Is God your meditation? If your answer is NO, you'll be amazed at the sort of actions you'll be taking.
God's word restrains us from going astray.
If you can remember God each day, hour, minutes and seconds of your life you'll certainly live to make Him happy for the rest of your life on earth.

Father, help me to retain Your word in my heart and continually meditate on it, so that I will be transformed by it, in Jesus' name - Amen.
