Hello everyone! Yesterday was our Eid ul-Adha, a day of joy, celebration, respect for culture, and time to be with our kith and kin. Some of us were filled with excitement and joy after we engaged in several entertaining activities that would be holding the family as well as the community together.
Sweet things were the first to flag the day. To add to this, we took some cakes and pastries to symbolize the sweet event that was in process.
They could also smell the fresh baked items, which is an aspect that helped bring the joyous mood during the celebration. Earlier, i applied mehndi on the hands ,it was looking so beautiful on my hands.😁♥️
Eid ul-Adha is an important Islamic festival when a process of Qurbani or animal slaughtering takes place.
This would in remembrance of the obedience of prophet Ibrahim, who was even willing to sacrifice his son to God.
While I had this slight feeling of sorrow while going to do the slaughtering of animals I was well aware that it was something that needed to be done. It is a reminder that this thing is an act of faith and commitment and the objective is to offer.
After that we did so much fun and celebration was observed all through the day. Family and friends phoned and visited each other they ate together and documented some beautiful moments.
It is also evident from the analysis of these ceremonies and event that there was a sense of togetherness whenever we met to perform the ceremonies and celebrate the event.
Thus, sacrifice may be a tiny part of the Eid ul-Adha festival, which encompasses love, compassion, and unity between humans, and their fellow beings.
In the evening we meet wach other and kissed with happiness convinced that every day has its delight and understood the significance of happiness. I am glad I attended that particular Eid since it was the most interesting one I have ever come across with lots of amusement, audacious reflection and the sweet sense of belonging. Joyous Eid ul-Adha to everyone who will observe this wonderful and blessed holiday.
