But after this Fitness Friday challenge, I look at this differently and have become wiser.
First, I looked up how many steps a flight of stairs has. I never knew the average number was 15.
At the beginning of the week, I learned how often I walked up and down the stairs at work daily.
An average of 10 times a day equals 240 steps up and 240 down again. (about 12 flights a day).
The stairs at my work have 24 steps in total.
Hahahahaha, on the first day, I had already achieved the goal, which only had to be performed on the last day of the challenge, climbing seven flights. 😅

Thoughtlessly, I climbed the stairs every day, not paying attention to my posture or muscle strength.
The video posted with this challenge even helped me find the next one.

But this time, extra attention is needed to relieve the knees.
And since that is my weakness, this was very welcome.
This video taught me I could have done better during stage 3 of stair climbing and bent too far forward.
It was simple to fix by focusing on my core.
It kept me from climbing the stairs with my back too straight or bent.
And thus relieved my knees.

I look forward to achieving the next challenge again. I am confident I will complete it as well.
Also, I will always carry my phone to record my steps for this walking challenge, proof that I completed the challenge.
But that's for next week.
Happy weekend to everyone, and stay healthy and happy.
