Medicinal plants are essential in a garden and have many advantages for both us and our vegetables. In addition, they are very easy to grow and very resistant to both diseases and pests.

Foxglove is a fabulous plant that you have surely seen more than once or you may even have bought in a flower shop. This beautiful ornamental plant is grown for florists.
In nature it is a plant native to Europe that likes acid soils and semi-shade. It is also usually associated with meadows or small mountain forests.
It is a really useful plant for insects that live in its area but also for ruminants since it is a plant that develops in two stages. The first year it only has its leaves in the form of a rosette and the second year it sends out that splendid stem full of vigorous flowers.
Foxglove is also a medicinal plant that has been used for a long time for its diuretic properties and for favoring the circulatory system.
In our garden we could plant it on the margins to thus favor the appearance of pollinating insects.
