Beneficial animals for the garden, Bats

in FreeCompliments2 days ago

I have talked and will continue to do so in a section of the blog about animals that are harmful to the garden, but there are also many animals that are beneficial to the garden. These are the predators that help us control pests in the most efficient and clean way possible. Our job will be to attract them and respect them so that they can help us get the best harvests.

Bats, far from sucking blood as the movies seem to make us believe based on a few species that do not do that exactly, are one of the most beneficial animals for humans in general and for horticulturists in particular.

More than 95% of bat varieties are insectivorous and only 5% are fruit-eating or blood-sucking. The latter do not eat blood but insects do. With this data we can realize that having bats nearby, in addition to controlling insect pests, will also control mosquito pests that are so unpleasant or even dangerous.

The best way to have bats nearby is not to disturb them in their resting areas and if you live in a wooded area you can install boxes so they can rest during the day. This will make them visit your growing area much more often.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
