        It's equal to one Hive. You can't purchase them on the open market. It's a program that lets you sponsor someone with an HSBI unit by sending at least one Hive to @steembasicincome , in return you also receive and HSBI unit. From having HSBI units you get occasional upvotes on your posts. The more units you have the more frequent the upvote and the amount of upvote as well.
