Sorry for long my absence or hiatus recently, I have been away from Hive Blogging for more than a week due to my health issue. It's a lot better now and I hope I could catch up with you guys soon.

Today on this Sunday, as usual, I try to share my thought and opinion about Splinterlands Game. I like to pick some simple topic, things that you should have known but maybe due to various reasons... we tend to simply forget about that.

So this week I will be talking about two cards from life element, they are not that great, however they are dangerous. What are they anyway?

The first one is Marisol Contuma. It is a free card, because it is a Gladius edition which you can buy using MERITS you get from loot chest and brawl. You don't have to have high level to make this Marisol Contuma dangerous.

However the bad side of this card is that he is rarely able to compete in your line up because he is a Gladius Card. Whenever we have an opportunity to employ a Gladius, usually card such as Captain Katie is a lot more preferred. and There are some good Reach-Ability card such as Corsair Bosun which is no less than Marisol Contuma.

The second one is Jared Scar. Everyone knows this dude, there was time when Jared Scar was very famous however after Rebellion was released, Jared Scar's popularity dropped a lot due to some Rebellion cards could open up a better meta (although this is debatable).

Jared Scar is a very strong card but hard to use, because his health point is too low. He is like a Glass Cannon but he is a melee unit, a bit complicated that makes him hard to use.

These two although are not as popular in the past, sometime they still can work together very well. Ok let's check our battle to showcase this opinion.

HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE

Ok this is the battle I pick, it is not to show how good my meta, but it is to show why these two card can be dangerous.

One of the consideration why I pick this one because there is an Equal Opportunity ruleset there, so both of these melee card can attack from anywhere.

The other consideration is that during equal opportunity we can exploit Martyr ability from Venari Marksrat. This way I could buff up two cards in my lineup, which ofcourse those would be Jared Scar and Marisol Contuma.

However I need to pay attention to avoid Jared Scar getting hit sooner, so I have to deploy some of bait so my opponent will aim those baits first.

now let see how this one progresses

• This battle started by both sides buffed their team. My opponent had a good defensive meta, they had protect ability and demoralize which was a counter for my Meta Attacks so this should be a good showcase for these two cards to perform.
• They came with 6 Melee Damage, 3 magic damage and 5 Range Damage. Combined all they became 14 damage per round.
• My team had 10 melee damage and 3 range damage. Overall my team had 13 damage per round, pretty much similar to my opponent.
• Overall my team was superior, so let see if these two cards could deliver fatal blows

• They had the lead in first round, they killed two of my units and my team had not been able to take down any of them.
• Finally I took down their Night Ghoul, what an annoying Melee Tank

• Round 3 started with 5 vs 3 here. I should be losing here right? well no of course, you can see I still had 11 Melee Damage per round from Jared Scar and Marisol Contuma, this would be a race whether they could take down my Jared Scar before they got wiped out.

• Round 4 became a 4 vs 3 battle. My team managed to close the gap, and the worst thing was that either Marisol Contuma or Jared Scar could kill anyone on their team with a single hit.

• See, now it became 2 vs 3. My team got this battle.

• Good Game. They could not last more than 6 rounds.

THE CONCEPT

Having two Bloodlust units is a good concept, however it is hard to deliver. You can have similar concept with this using Grum Flameblade in Fire Element, or USUT in Death Element but what the difference which make me endorse these two cards?

Simple, the first one as I have said above, these two are affordable and you don't have to spend big. Your wallet is safe here. One is free and easy to get, another one is very cheap which cost you less than a dollar..

Second, most Bloodlust units are hard to connect to each other. There are many reasons about it, for example their aiming is different, one is sneak attacker, other is regular or sniper. The other reason is speed, or it is hard to put two bloodlust and making sure the 4 others can connect.

I am not recommending any trial to spam this pairs, because they can be easily countered. However seeing these cards below:

which both of them combining a 17 Melee Damage of course making us feel so glad... seeing our plan working well.

Again, I want to say that these two aren't the best, they are far from super dangerous however they are still dangerous. You don't want to see any units with 8+ melee damage, right? yet seeing a pair like this
