As I write this, my back aches like a motherfluffer but sweet things never come easy.
The highlight of my week would be Hive, most especially community and friends. I have been experiencing a lot offline lately but, the people I have met here don’t forget to remind me that I’m much more than I think I am.
@tengolotodo who has made it his life’s mission to make sure I don’t get lost in my head. Bro pops up like a doll from the Pandora to give me a KUTA and says, “I am proud of you”. I did not know how much it meant to have someone in your corner, until this fluffing man who would believe in me even when I don’t believe in myself.
My woman, @jhymi. This woman has the most amazing way with words. Especially when she’s angry. She’s very interesting when she’s raving mad. Sis switches from “I’ll fluffing murder you” to “I’m a Queen yo!” in a matter of minutes. She always has a way to make me pique up. Especially when she’s planning world domination.
@olujay was (surprisingly) a major highlight for me this week. His passion rubs off on me all the time we talk. He is very charismatic and he holds me by the throat to deliver sometimes. Bossy and friendly at the same time. Yet, he made me laugh.
@justfavour with his lectures on English pronunciations that state “A” as “H”. You’d think he’s Yoruba but no, he just has a very weird lecturer. I love riling him up. Making him shout. He makes me shout. And we laugh about it. Favour was a favorite highlight this week.
And Demon Slayer. Yes, an Anime. Demon Slayer kept me okay this week. Watching the anime from S1 to 3 all over again really made my week. That and watching “Monster” thanks to Favour’s recommendation.
Another highlight was the sky. I freaking loved coming out to a bright sky painted in a sea of clear clouds. It was absolutely beautiful.
The rain was also another highlight. I love the rain. I love the cold. I love the smell of petrichor. I love the feel of my couch. All these were highlights of my week.
Also, doing very well on Hive. It’s as though the god of Hive finally remembered me and that added the icing to the cake.
All in all, I really loved this week! It’s my best week despite all that’s been happening around me. I look forward to relaxing even more tomorrow.
