Our family recently started a tradition of driving out to Caldwell, Idaho, to see the Indian Creek Plaza lights. They go all out and have some very clever designs!
One design that stood out and captivated the attention of my boys is a dragon.
They designed this dragon, so it sits in the little creek they have running through the plaza. That's not the coolest part.
Every ten minutes, the dragon shoots fire out of its mouth! If you look to the left, you can see a length of flex hose running from the neck, down the body, into the water, up onto the bank, and into a fenced-off propane tank.
When the time comes for the magic to happen, its eyes turn red. Ten seconds later and...
It not only spits out a fireball but a good-sized one at that!
Whoever designed this needs some serious recognition! Crowds of people stand around to watch. It's a genius design and hopefully stays around for many years to come!
