Distriator App - Development Updates
Updating App name
- At one place, I missed updating the text.
- I kept wondering how did I miss that one.
- After looking at the widget code, I realised that It's an image & not a text.
- Thanks to @josegrech, she did provide me updated icons.
- I used the updated colored icon & placed it in the app.
- After that, I compiled the whole app again & deployed it using firebase to our production web-app.
Getting access to new domain
- Today, @starkerz provided access to domain.
- Using namecheap invite, I was able to access.
- At first I couldn't access it. I realised that it is mandatory to put in name, address, phone number to get the access.
- Only after filling up those, I go the access.
- Once I was in, I started configuring DNS so that new domain can be put to use.
- Following screenshot indicates correct configuration which I've applied.
- Of course, such DNS configuration doesn't reflect immediately & you've to actually wait for some time.
- I am using firebase hosting for deploying the web-app of the flutter.
- For current domain "hive-distrion.app", we are now redirecting to "distriator.com"
- Other test domains are preconfigured by firebase & are used for testing purposes.

- Everything is configured from front-end
- You can now go to https://distrator.com & access the latest app.
- Those who go to https://hive-distrion.app, will be redirected to https://distrator.com
ThreeSpeak - Customer Support
- On hive, we have a user called @mightpossibly
- He summarizes videos very well.
- @starkerz requested me to assist & unblock @mightpossibly in doing so.
- Based on request, I gave him steps to achieve what he needs.
- Wishing him all the best for his video compilations
Rewarding Hive Content Creators
- I support several contests hosted by different communities.
- I reward them with Hive-Power-up for the contribution that they have made on communities on Hive.
- We keep transferring portion of hive power to different users on Hive for encouraging them for their contribution on Hive.
- Those who respond to our replies, we also reward them with different tokens like ALIVE, PIZZA, BEER, LUV
- Today, we did not send hive-power-up to any one.

- Hive Witness node was down for some time & I missed one block.
- After taking care of issues, hive witness node was back up.
- DLUX, DUAT & LARYNX node are down today. I am working on fixing it.
- VSC Node was down for some time. After taking care of issues, it was up again.
- All Encoder nodes were down for sometime - due to electricity outage. As soon as power supply was back, I broght all of them back to life.
Updates: Video Encoder Nodes
- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-06-08, 3Speak published total 134 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 117 videos from 134 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 87.31 % of total videos published on 2024-06-08
