Updates on Current Version of Hive Distrion App
- Instead of keeping
@spk.beneficiary, I've updated beneficiary account to@distrion.beneficbased on the discussion I had with @starkerz. - I applied the changes on the back-end & deployed it.
- On the front-end side, I replaced where-ever this beneficiary was used & updated it.
- I also deployed the front-end changes. Sometimes, I find it good to have PWA as front-end compare to apps. Usually, for apps, you compile binary, distribute internally, test it, and then submit it to Stores, they approve it & gets listed. this whole process takes time up-to-minimum-of-2-days. PWAs are instantly updated.
- People have started using the Distrion App & you can also see the list of people who have claimed the HBD in the above screenshot.
- However, there is one bug - two users were able to claim 60% on their first transaction. I'm investigating this issue.
Updates on New Version of Hive Distrion App
- To better understand the future requirements & business logic, I had 2 hour long call with @starkerz.
- I gained lot of clarity in terms of what needs to be building.
- I've to keep building both versions in parrallel - current version & future version.
- At one point, both version will get one & we'll have single version to maintain.
Business Schema
- Today, after multiple rounds of self-review on the business schema, I finalised on following business schema.
- Business Schema will hold all important things.
- I've started writing the API for business & all the changes are locally at the moment.

- Fix the Claim % issue (it goes as high as 60%)

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-05-25, 3Speak published total 90 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 71 videos from 90 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 78.89 % of total videos published on 2024-05-25
