Updates on 3Speak

- Today, many users including @starkerz were facing upload issues.
- We tried several things to find the root cause of the issues.
- For some users uploads were either failing or it would simply restart
- There were several messages exchanged
- At the end, I restarted the server to fix the issues.
- But of course, we've to identify the root cause of all issues & fix it.
3Speak Mobile App issues identified
- can't go back from podcast app
- tab bar is below safe-area
- podcast app also below safe-area
- podcast player is below safe-area
- Podcast - use image, if that fails, use artwork for podcast thumbnail
- Podcast Episode - use image, if that fails, we use feedImage for podcast episode thumbnail
We have identified above issues on mobile app & working on it.
3Speak Mobile App AutoPublish
- Users feel frustrated - I am aware
- Upload process is tedious & we're working on it
- We are trying to automate video-publish.
- Soon, we'll roll out another app which will have auto-publish feature.
Updates on Distrion App

- Alpha/Beta Testing is going very well.
- Users like @starkerz, @jonsnow1983, @hivesucre - they have tried app & things went well for them.
- I received 4 items as feedback & addressed following 3
- ✅ Feedback 1: Show info dialog to user about claimed rewards
- ✅ Feedback 2: Upload 3-10 photos of your experience
- ✅ Feedback 3: After photos, ask user to comment about the experience at the business
- ✅ Feedback 4: Shows bunch of camera options - it should be just one back-facing camera. This issue is solved. but for some reason, it is not working on my iPhone. I've tested it on other Android phones & it seems working.
- The model for rewarding users with HBD is defined & I've started working on it.
Updates on Union-Indexer-Node

- Union Indexer was down.
- Due to this mobile-app which uses GraphQL based on union-indexer stopped working.
- So, whole mobile app looked like it's not working at all.
- With hints & clues from @geo52rey, I was able to bring back union-indexer to life.
Other small small updates
- @HiveCurators discord bot doing well & with help of it, @hivecurators community curated 46 posts & motivated content creators. You can find the curation report below.
- I distribute ALIVE, PIZZA, LUV, BEER token using both @sagarkothari88 & @hivecurators account to content creators - to keep them motivated.
- My 3Speak video encoder nodes encoded 122 videos out of 145 videos on date 01-May-2024.
Investing into Hive - 02-May-2024
- Today, I powered up 103.047 HIVE so far
- My goal is to power-up daily some amount.
- Daily target includes 100 Hive Power up
- My hive power ups includes
- power up - 28.493 HP
- witness rewards - 16.582 HP
- benefactor rewards - 15.13 HP
- hive curation rewards - 42.842 HP
