@Poliac season has just ended, so to keep us in shape, let's start a new season of @macfit right away. The group phase will be played between September 18 and 25.
After the roller-coaster of season 18 - the Olympics, we are back to the usual format. 24 players will compete in 6 groups, playing a single round robin mode. Two best players from each group and four best 3rd-placed players will advance to the playoffs. The brackets will be formed based on group phase performance.
A small novelty is introduced this season. Rather than playing on three consecutive days, the match days will be spaced by 2 days of rest. This makes everyone aware of their situation before they play the next match.
Groups A, B, C will play on next Wednesday - Saturday - Tuesday and the match days for groups D, E, F are on next Thursday - Sunday - Wednesday. Thus, all players have one match on the weekend and two on working days.
