It's interesting how people would anticipate this league. If people are scared to lose cards, then fewer player will share the pool, which mean a much more rewards are possible to earn ! But we will always need to consider got our cards eliminated and can't be played for a long time of period (you can check the detail of the formula on the link above). I am think about using the cards when I used all my energy on modern league, but still, it's too risky because even the summoner are counted as loss when the team is losing. It's like all or nothing ! Get you best possible side to wipe all enemies with minimum death, or you might lose all your main cards for few days 😅
It is interesting to see how it goes, and how this might affect of the possible revive the smurf account again. This would lead a movement on the market price, especially the rent market. I wish it won't happens, cause I rent lot of cards to play on current gold modern league 😅
And one more things, I wish get easier enemies cause they lost their main summoner and monsters on survival mode 🤣

There is some updates on Splinterlands, from a battle display that been changed, and a major updates about a new league named survival mode, which cause massive impact on both standing league cause the cards eliminated on the survival mode are unable to be used on the modern and wild league.
