I’m very happy to be able to present to you a flawless brawl for me :-) By the way, we’re recruiting in our Guild due to a lot of inactivity – if you’re interested (or maybe your whole guild wants to merge?), you can write me on discord or comment. Info below.
Now, the battle stuff – boy, those were some awesome battles, I’m very excited about them.
Fight 1: https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sm_ZXnGVF0QZnZvbDvB96KZ
The first one was melee only, noxious fumes, and even mana cost only. Luckily, an incredibly high mana pool with 55 – but neither fire nor death were available, so no immunes (Forgotten One, Hobgoblin in fire, and Haklaw in death).
I went with Possibilius for reach and trample and of course the extra health (which in this case means 1 round of poison). My new favorite Slade in first, Sentry in second, Demented shark in third for Inspiration. Fourth went to Fellblade, Fifth to Tatiana and at the end it was the Deeplurker. Most of them high health and thanks to inspire very high damage.
The Nature team of the enemy didn’t stand a chance, but it was still an interesting fight. Check it out!
Fight 2: Fighting Legends
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sm_UgkwEHqEDjjuE2nYZSnZ
In this fight, I went for my new favorite combination: Rage + Krash + Stishpa. The enemy went with a strong water line-up full of legends, except for the Sentry in first position. Rules were: Equilizer, Armored Up, Target Practice with 57 Mana.
So, my line-up was: Naga Brute with Void Armor and Thorns in first position (taking advantage of the extra 2 armor), Rage in Second for weapons training, Void, Flying, Speed, Krash in third for extra speed. I was expecting a lot of +10 Mana Monsters due to the high cap, so I chose the Djinn Inferni. That didn’t play out, but 3 damage is still good. I just saw that I really have to upgrade that one. Magi of Chaos in 5th position, and of course my Chaos Dragon.
Choosing Rage with 12 health might seem like a risk considering Equalizer Rule, but I expected high health from the enemy, too. I don’t understand why the enemy only used 50 of the 57 Mana – maybe an extra card would’ve made the difference, like a Baakjira in combination with the Mastermind. But hey, I’m happy with the win.
Fight 3: A gold team AND Yodin – very, very close call. This one is my favorite.
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sm_STlwH8lHNWEc32ZrexhG
This one I just won thanks to Krash evading one single attack. Yes, I really love the R+K+S-Strategy :-D The enemy had a pure gold card team, and I was lucky he only had Zodin on Level 1 – that made this win possible.
With this line-up, I wasn’t as happy. It looked more like a “Got to use al my Mana” line-up – but it also was a 99 Mana cap, so what was there to do? Also, scattershot, fury and amplify. Scattershot and Zodin are a nasty combination and only to win against by evading attacks.
Line-Up: Desert Dragon, Carnage Titan (concentrated melee damage), Krash + Rage. I was thinking about another non-attack monster to but behind Rage, but used Sorriel instead for his double strike. Chaos Dragon in the back as always.
When you watch the battle, you will notice that it’s really only due to Krash evading an attack that I won. Very cool battle!
Fight 4: Life Leech, Poison and Scavenge
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sm_4DCwLedAPZegRLIA9tBb
The enemy did a mistake with his summoner. Against Keyla, things would’ve been different. My strategy was as described – debilitating with poison and stun, gaining life with leech and scavenge. Worked out nicely in this little league game.
Fight 5: Repetition?
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sm_XPo1Fw3NMJpFAJM7N2N8
Funny enough, this line-up is almost the same as the prior fight since it’s Little League again. Due to Fog of War, I put the Venari Bonesmith in the last position to get as much life as possible if he came to be the tank. He didn’t.
I hope you enjoy those battles, I certainly did. If you have comments on strategy or want to show your own posts – just comment, I’ll drop by and leave a comment, too :-)
