14 melee damage? Another 12 melee damage? No pain if you miss.

I don't know why, but recently it seems like the matches I'm involved into are getting more fun. Maybe the bots and battle helpers got washed out and it's really down to strategy? Maybe - but not in this battle. Scattershot is NEVER strategic. If anyone tells you otherwise, it's to sell you Rage-Insurance.

Honestly, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this clusterchaos of a match. Let me try. It's a lot of fun to watch, and I hope you feel the same. It's one of those matches that makes me keep playing.

Here we go. Lovely silver league max - except for my Sevaya. And my Martyr, but honestly, the quicker the rat's down, the better.

One of my mistakes here was to be cocky - as if Rage was going to solve everything. Rage plus enrage is usually a good combo, especially with high speed monsters and phase - the downside is little health here, and the oponnents Chaos Dragon made that very clear.

It's kind of funny that after the first round, one for the enemies martyrs got a martyr bonus while the chaos dragon got wasted the first time, and both our "tank" martyrs were still in place - no harm done. I honestly laughed when I realized that (which is good because it means that I still get metaphysical and non-monetary value from this game). But now it gets really weird:

Well yeah, the freaking rats are still there. Martyrs my tail. They're like strongholds that were supposed to crumble - scattershot is fun, they say. The opponent's Chimney has reached a melee attack of 12 at this point, due to martyr and enrage - but the rat is alive, so neither the Chimney nor the Flameblade can make a move.

Cockroaches are lemmings in comparison to the Markrats. Where into round 4, several monsters have died several times, and the markrats? Well, not once. Don't tell me about a scattershot strategy, ever. But the enemy's Chaos Dragon finally kills my marksrat (first time -rebirth mf), explodes to the conjurer and get's killed by the reflect - what a move!

So, in the middle of round 4, the absurdity of existence comes into fruition. There's a beast of 14 melee and 9 speed with reach waiting to attack - but the tank martyr is still alive. Both of the first line monsters that were supposed to die are still alive. They absolutely failed their purpose, and failed it so much it's just funny.

Starting round 5. They're all dead now, died several times. Only the Flameblade is left. Done deal you think? Never ever underestimate the Flameblade. The fun has just begun.

Yeah okay that was a clickbait. Even a 12 melee 9 speed Flameblade couldn't turn it around and missed a flying 11 speed, but if some scattershots had gone another way - who knows?

I really loved to watch this battly and decifer it for you. Any insight is always welcome. It's all about a lucky strategy. Sleep well!
