The current season is over on a splinterlands and now it is time to claim the reward. We get glint tokens as part of the reward and there is no hurry to claim even if you claim later then also its not going to lost but its not as exciting as it was before when we were getting loot chests. It was an exciting part of the game because we didn't know what we were going to get and opening those cards was so much fun. Now we just need to know the number of tokens we earned because these are the tokens we can use in the reward shop to buy different assets.
Now since the season is over hence it is time to check out how many tokens I have earned as part of the end-of-season reward. Here is the snapshot of the token reward and since I have ended the season in Champion 3 with a 3800 rating, so I am eligible for 101,229 glint tokens. The reward is less as compared to what I have got in the last couple of seasons and probably it is because the game is reducing reward for players in the wild format. I have already discussed wild pass in one of my previous posts and now any player must buy it before one can start playing in the game. I will see what I'm going to buy in the shop using the board but I'm not so excited about the reward because it is surely less.
Buying Wild Pass
The new season has started and Wild Pass is valid only for one season hence I need to buy the pass again. Once I buy the wild past then only I'll be able to play the game in wild format and this is one of the requirements that has been implemented by the game but I believe there should be the option to buy the pass for multiple seasons. It will reduce the manual intervention however the process is easy and doesn't take much time.
I used vouchers to pay for the wild pass and a total of 40 vouchers were used for the payment. As I mentioned this wild past is only valid for the current season and this will expire once the season is over. I have completed the purchase using the vouchers just now.
Now I have purchased the wild pass hence I can see the battle button which was not visual earlier. Since I play in the wild format hence it is a mandatory requirement for me to buy the wild pass then only I will be able to play the battles in the game. Now this season has started for me and I will start playing now to increase my ranking and league for a better season-end reward.
Buying Legendary Draw
I bought 4 legendary draws and paid 100k glint tokens which is almost the entire season-end reward.
It's always great to have as many legendary cards in the game but the possibility of the gold foil is another option that everyone. Here is what I have received out of all these four legendary draws but I did not get any gold foil card. Anyway, I'm happy to have whatever I have received because Legendary itself is a great addition to the game and with a good collection of legendary cards the possibility to earn more battle improves.
That is all for this season and now I will be playing in the current one to make it more rewarding. This season I ended up in the Champion 3 league but in the current season, I will be trying to make it to Champion 2 if possible. Every season is different and need to plan strategy accordingly to make it better and hopefully, I should be able to do well in this season as compared to what I did in the last one and obviously, we can't have every season the same.
