deja de hablar y enfrenta la realidad.

La verdad es un tesoro invaluable,
que pocos saben apreciar,
hablar con honestidad es una virtud,
que algunos logran cultivar.

Dear English-speaking virtual friends, I apologise in advance because I am aware that a poem translated from Spanish into English loses its meaning, rhythm and metrical structure. I used the online tool DeepL Pro and gave it a personal touch according to my knowledge of the English language, but I could not construct the corresponding rhymes.

you'd better keep quiet.
A word from your mouth hurts more
than the edge of a dagger.
There are subtle words,
like candy on the palate,
and others bitter
that I would never want to hear.
Words are carried away by the wind,
but that's not quite true,
the bad ones stay, the good ones go,
silence is a good way to balance.
Shut up, you liar, say no more,
your tongue is a poisonous sting,
your words are deadly poison,
stop talking and face reality.
Immoral! if you...
You hide behind your reputation.
You don't fool me.
"Make a name for yourself and go to sleep."
Truth is a priceless treasure,
that few know how to appreciate,
To speak honestly is a virtue,
that some manage to cultivate.
