me invade un miedo irracional,
que me paraliza y me aleja
de tu calor y tu bondad
¿Cómo vencer esta barrera?,

Dear English-speaking virtual friends, I apologise in advance because I am aware that a poem translated from Spanish into English loses its meaning, rhythm and metrical structure. I used the online tool DeepL Pro and gave it a personal touch according to my knowledge of the English language, but I could not construct the corresponding rhymes.
I feel a relentless urge
To wander everywhere and see
the wonders of this world, so big.
No secret can be kept.

I face a wall of doubt and fear,
that stops me and makes me cry.
My dreams pause, where do they go?
How can I break this vicious cage?
and find some peace in the restlessness.
I feel a relentless restlessness
That consumes me and keeps me awake
To see your unfathomable eyes
and to kiss your beautiful mouth.
But every time you come near
I'm overcome by an irrational fear,
that paralyses me and drives me away
from your warmth and your kindness
How to overcome this barrier,
and give myself to your passion...
