These are really cool shots and I soo agree with your tips. It's like being patient is top priority when capturing these animals. You can get some interesting photo as a result. One thing about this hobby is that I learned not to care about the stares of people even when the object of my frame can look ridiculous for them.

That is indeed one of the most important rules of photography! :-D Never mind the staring people! Most of the time, if they get a chance to see the result, they stare even more, but in total awe ;-)
