"THE WAY I SEE IT"- Rural photography from Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela

in Visual Shots6 months ago

When I take photographs in rural environments, something very similar starts to happen to me as with street photography... Gradually I start to "look beyond the landscape" and after a few pictures I find myself looking for what I call "complex spaces"...

T02.jpg
02-📷 / "Signal"

T03.jpg
03-📷 / "Drought behind the wire"

T04.jpg
04-📷 / "After the fire"

Therefore, these photos are very diverse and aim to try to share with you a more intimate kind of vision on the rural spaces around my village. Obviously, there is something "of myself" in these photos, something very particular, something that resembles when I walk down the street and people call me "The madman with the camera in his hand"... But this time in a "rural" version... ;)

T05.jpg
05-📷 / "Collage in grey weather"

T06.jpg
06-📷 / "Vision with abandoned house"

T07.jpg
07-📷 / "Minimalism in flock"

T08.jpg
08-📷 / "Just a bit of death"

This is really fun to do. I mean everything from the time I'm taking these photos to the hours I spend in front of my PC selecting them, editing them, looking at them and (the nicest thing) captioning them!... I like to do this and that's why I also like to share it with you...

T10.jpg
10-📷 / "Old ranch gate"

T11.jpg
11-📷 / "With a tiny motorbike"

MONOCHROME VERSIONS

utcats.jpg

I have prepared an additional black and white edition for these photographs to share here as well. As usual with me, I really like to observe and compare the colour versus monochrome versions in the same photos. That's something that teaches me and tells me a bit more about each photo and also serves as an additional editing exercise,a thing which I value a lot (I like to edit for hours, I do a lot of catharsis doing that).

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The shots are then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!

True beauty is complex (lo digo por lo de sus espacios complejos). It's like a scent that comes from within... and these photos have scent, freshness and mystery. Inherent characteristics of beauty, my friend.

One of the main essential aspects here is to capture what we simply cannot see, you are a master at this. Transmitting images made with his majestic photographic eye! Excellent work colleague and friend @jlinaresp My applause for you 👏🏻

Fantastic photos, as always. I see they burned that field, just like you said they would. It was fun recognizing it even though I've never been there.

Is that a donkey skull? Or maybe a Przewalki's horse??? lol

:) Thanks for stopping by and appreciating @corvidae friend... Yes, the fire has already started! :( But it rained a little yesterday nad today's morning, maybe that will stop the fires for a few days...

Certainly, I think it is the skull of a donkey (African donkeys are raised here for work) they are very common around here... I don't think we have Przewalki horses here hahaha :))... But we have mules that are quite similar!... :))

Black and white pictures have an extra dimension of the images you presented. The after fire impacts.
