En nuestra cultura actual, amar y hacerle daño a quien amamos, por ejemplo, parece algo normal, sin embargo, son dos términos contradictorios, quien ama sólo pretende dar bienestar y aquí viene otro punto interesante, para dar amor, hay que comenzar por amarnos a nosotros mismos, algo que pareciera a veces aún más difícil.
Antes de continuar, les deseo a todos ustedes un ¡FELIZ DÍA DE SAN VALENTÍN!, cuyo protagonista sea cada uno de ustedes, que puedan sentirse amados al máximo, independientemente de quienes les rodeen, esa expresión máxima de amor debe provenir, en primer lugar, de ustedes mismos. ¡Así que a sonreír! que en el espejo puedes ver a quién más necesitan en la vida para lograr todos tus propósitos.

Parte del amor propio, es reconocer y valorar nuestras cualidades y virtudes, es más frecuente que nos enfoquemos en nuestras debilidades y que nos olvidemos de apreciar todo lo positivo que hay en nosotros.
Particularmente intento ver las cosas de las que puedo enorgullecerme, así como también tengo muchos aspectos para mejorar, no todo es malo; claro, me ha llevado tiempo aprender ese enfoque.
Aprovechando esta iniciativa, hoy compartiré con ustedes tres aspectos de mi personalidad que me encantan y que considero, han sido un pilar fundamental en mi vida. Ellos son: Coherencia, honestidad y perseverancia.
Sí, sé que son valores, pero son parte de mí, siento que me definen.

En cuanto a la honestidad, esta característica me permite tener una sola cara, un solo discurso y me hace una persona confiable. Soy poco tolerante a la mentira, a la trampa, a lo no auténtico. Pienso que no hay necesidad de fingir, mentir y engañar, además no hay justificación aceptable.
Creo que lo mejor es ser transparente con los demás y que sólo estén a tu lado las personas que te acepten como eres. Prefiero estar sola que fingir ser quien no soy, pero también intento ser la mejor versión de mí, para atraer el tipo de personas que enriquecen mi vida.
Gracias a la honestidad puedo mantener vínculos humanos valiosos, basados en la confianza, pero más que todo, puedo dormir sintiendo paz.

Por último, la perseverancia es una cualidad que me ha sido muy útil. El hecho de no rendirme ante los obstáculos y enfrentar los desafíos con determinación, ha sido un elemento clave en mi camino.
Me gusta terminar lo que empiezo, es una especie de premisa en mi vida, por eso elijo muy bien las cosas que decido hacer, pero lo más importante es que gracias a eso he materializado metas muy valiosas para mí.
Creo que la perseverancia es una especie de super poder, que te lleva a alcanzar lo que no es posible lograr de otra manera.
Levantarme cada vez que caigo e insistir en lo que me he propuesto, con la convicción de que ése el camino a seguir, me ha permitido seguir adelante, incluso, en los momentos más difíciles.
Claro, para eso debo creer en mí mismo y en mis capacidades, lo que implica que debo conocer tanto mis fortalezas, como mis debilidades.
Finally, perseverance is a quality that has been very useful to me. The fact of not giving up in the face of obstacles and facing challenges with determination has been a key element in my path.
I like to finish what I start, it is a kind of premise in my life, that's why I choose very well the things I decide to do, but the most important thing is that thanks to that I have materialized very valuable goals for me.
