Seeing through the surface of stagnant water which has gathered because of the constant rainfall we have been having in these few days and weeks, I see the reflection of the beautiful cloud. The clouds are not so clear. We have been blessed with abundant rain these days. Even as I am composing this post, the showers have begun.
A few months ago, we were worried as there wasn't enough rain to propel our farming activities. We wondered how the outcome would be when, as at the month of May, we couldn't start our farming activities in full flesh because of lack of sufficient rainfall.
Thanks to God and the blessings of nature, the rain has arrived. The month of June really made farmers happy. Even as we are going in this month of July, the rain is still working for us.
Yesterday, a sister in our church made a phone call to me. She complained of ailments arising from the constant rainfall. That is part of the story. While those who are into farming business are celebrating the rainfall, children and many other people are afflicted by the cold. The illnesses associated with the rainy season have been afflicting many people. We hope that those who are sick get well soon.
