The characteristic of Micraspis frenata is that it is very small, usually measuring only 2-4.5 mm, while its body is bright yellow and has a dark striped pattern that gives an attractive impression, even though its size is small, the presence of this beetle in the ecosystem has a very important role, this beetle Known as a natural predator for plant pests, this beetle usually hunts aphids and other insect larvae, by controlling the population of aphids and other insect larvae and ultimately Micraspis frenata is considered to be an important figure for plant growth.

Micraspis frenata's natural habitat is generally in damp areas, such as forests, gardens and several other areas that have humidity, this beetle is often found among dense foliage, they are often under the leaves to avoid being targeted by predator hunters, this beetle is very active during the day days to look for food and mates, and for their food are aphids, insect larvae and fungi that grow around them.
