Leucocoprinus cepistipes is a type of mushroom from the Agaricaceae family which is often found growing in tropical and subtropical forests. This mushroom has a cap that is white to cream in color and is shaped like an umbrella hat, while the stem of the mushroom is slender and white, often the cap can be have a smooth or slightly fibrous surface.

Leucocoprinus cepistipes generally grows on organic substrates such as rotten leaves and rotting tree trunks, although this mushroom is not known as a poisonous species, it is very important to be careful and not consume it, proper identification is very necessary because many Mushroom species are similar so it will be very dangerous if not properly identified for consumption, poisonous mushrooms will make you lose consciousness and even cause death, so you always need to be careful when you want to cook mushroom soup.
