The genus parmarion is a group of gastropods belonging to the drepanocephalidae family. The characteristic of this genus is the spiral shape of the shell and often has an attractive color and this is very helpful in identifying the species. Now it is important to understand that species of the Parmarion genus are generally found in Tropical and subtropical areas, the Parmarion genus are also known as active land snails and have an important role in the ecosystem as breaking down organic matter and dissolving it as nutrients to fertilize the soil.
