The characteristic characteristic of the species in this genus is that the wing color tends to be brown or yellowish. with a small eye pattern that often looks like a bird's eye, which functions as a defense mechanism against predators.
species in the Genus Mycalesis are easy to find in forest and bush habitats, these butterflies also have a habit of flying low and often hide among the leaves, and this is also what makes these butterflies found and observed, I found them among the weeds and was reproducing with butterfly partners, and this was an amazing discovery on my journey in the forest.
