The genus Euploea is a group of butterflies belonging to the Nymphalidae family. Butterflies from this genus are known by the common name "tiger butterflies" and these butterflies are widespread in Asia and Australia, the characteristic of this butterfly is its wings, As you can see in the photo, this butterfly has a striking pattern of white lines and spots.

These butterflies usually have medium to large sizes and contrasting wing patterns, and this has an alternative function to protect them from predators by imitating the appearance of birds or other animals that predators don't like. Apart from that, these butterflies also have The habit of eating nectar from various types of flowers, while their larvae eat the leaves of plants from the Apocynaceae family, which is one of the bushy plants such as jasmine and so on.

It is also important to understand that within the Euploea genus there are various species that have their own unique characteristics, some of the well-known species such as the common crow, tawny crow and several others, and each of these species has varying wing patterns and colors and it also gives them a different identity.

The natural habitat of the euploea genus is very varied, ranging from tropical rainforests to open areas and gardens, environmental changes such as deforestation and the use of pesticides can affect their populations, therefore, conservation efforts involving protecting natural habitats and reducing the use of dangerous chemicals are very important to maintain ecosystem balance and the survival of the Euploea genus.
