Coprinopsis variegata is an interesting species of fungus and often gets attention in the world of mycology, and this species is known by the common name "ink fungus" and this species is included in the psathyrellaceae family, basically this fungus is known because of its ability to produce spores in large quantities. very large, the characteristic of this mushroom is its unique umbrella shape and bright color, often with varied patterns and this also makes this mushroom easy to recognize and identify.

This fungus usually grows in natural habitats in damp places such as forest edges, grasslands and in open areas with lots of organic material in the soil. This fungus often grows in degraded places by utilizing plant remains and other organic materials as a food source for growth. Fungi, as decomposers of Coprinopsis variegata, play an important role in the ecosystem as decomposers of organic matter and returning nutrients to the soil. Now it is necessary to understand that this process is not only beneficial for fungi but is also beneficial for various other organisms that depend on soil fertility.

Apart from its ecological value, Coprinopsis variegata is also interesting to study in the context of biotechnology, a fungus with the ability to decompose organic matter, break down organic matter and return nutrients to the soil has attracted the attention of many researchers who are looking for new ways to handle organic waste and improve health. land, I am very confident that if we carry out further research we will find new methods in waste management and environmental conservation, and this of course will maintain environmental conduciveness by not creating smoke pollution such as the activity of burning organic waste.
