There is no doubt in this that I am a hard-core potato lover. I ha e eating since childhood. I love it so much that the foods appears to be incomplete without it. While peoole may consider it as addiction, but it is not as like. I happen to take all kind of meals with or without potatoes. Since childhood I got a lot of criticsm for my love for potatoes. There was a time when I can not take my meals without any potatoes dishes. Be it fri3d or mix with any dish, the presence of potatoes is must. Eben my Mom used to seve me boiled potatoes mixed with salt, and it was tasty to me. But the time peoole make fun of me for my love alwsys irritate me. But my love never shoves away.

Peope have many perception regarding potatoes. Some consider it as a source of weight gain, while many consider it as a reason for I creased sugar level in body. Bit I think eating potatoes in control quantity does not have any side effect. There are some things to consider when eating potatoes:
Cooking methods : Cooking potatoes using high heat, like baking, roasting, or frying, can create acrylamide, a compound that may be linked to cancer. Boiling and steaming potatoes are less likely to create acrylamide.
Glycoalkaloids: Potatoes contain glycoalkaloids, which are toxic if eaten in large quantities. Look for green patches on the skin, which indicate higher levels of glycoalkaloids, and remove them before cooking.
I am not the only one who loves potatoes. In India we have a saint / priest who is popular with name Aloo Baba. The word "aloo" means potato in Hindi. Aloo Baba is a man from Pushkar, Rajasthan, India who has only eaten potatoes for 45 years. Baba is a local expert on healthy living, simplicity, and control. He is popular in the town and many people visit him to learn how to live a life with fewer worries. Baba lives in a Shiva temple on the outskirts of Pushkar. He avoid any oiky stuffs and prefer to intake potatoes in boiled form. So considering 45 years is a pretty long time. And he is quite energetic and living healthy.
For people like me who are love eating potatoes, it is called the king of vegetables, because it can be eaten by mixing it with almost all kinds of vegetables. Potato contains many essential nutrients which provide innumerable health benefits.
Fiber : Potatoes contain fiber in their cell walls, particularly in the skin. Fiber can help you feel full and may help prevent heart disease by controlling cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Vitamins and minerals: Potatoes are a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B6, iron, and riboflavin.
Antioxidants: Potatoes contain antioxidants like flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acids. Antioxidants can help prevent chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
Filling: Potatoes are filling, which can help you lose weight by reducing hunger pangs and cravings.
The thought that if a person does not eat potatoes for a month, may have multiple side effects on our health. We will face issue with our digestion system, we unable to get proper nutrient supply to body. The absence of vitamin C may affect our immune system. Considering all these things I can never think of leaving potatoes. So far since childhood I have it, and let how long I will carry forward the love. But the love do taught me to cook some easy recipes and I always savour them.
