I received a notification of another round of a program we had just last Friday. Then I realized that another Friday will soon be here. That made me wonder how fast time runs. It was a couple of days when we were gathering our brains and minds to engage with the weekend engagement writing prompt. In just a few hours, we’ll be issued a new set of topics to engage again. That’s how serious time is on its course.
Time Never Waits
I once listened to a reversed man. He was talking on time. I said that time is like a river which runs without waiting. He further pointed out that people are not asked “How young are you?” They are always asked “How old are you?” This indicates that from the time one is born, his time starts counting without waiting. He grows older not younger. His time keeps running every single day; every single second.
No Excuse With Time
There are several instances where we have reasonable excuses to give. We have reasons why we didn't meet up with the demand. We complain about why things can't work out. Excuses! Excuses!! Excuses!!!
We may have goodly looking excuses but those have no place with time. We may have tenable reasons but those wouldn't count with time. Whatever we are to do today which we push up for tomorrow has only wasted one day out of our lives. There is no excuse with time.
Proper Timing
Prospects will become dead dreams if one forgets to run with time. The most important factor in achieving anything is the ability to manage the timing well. When time is given proper attention, results will certainly come. The bend of failure is lack of proper timing. Every aspiration can become reality if one understands how to manage one’s time right.
Managing time involves a number of things.
Understanding Age: Whatever one is pursuing, one must put into consideration his/her age. There are age ranges for almost every adventure of life. There is the right age to get an education. If you suddenly realized that you needed education when you were already older, the process won't be as easy as it should have been when you were younger. There is the right age for every progressive advancement in life.
Understanding Season: Farmers do know that there is planting season as well as there is harvest season. If you want to plant when others are harvesting, they could consider you as having a mental problem. When planting is done at the right time, the harvest will be certain. In every endeavor of life, there are seasons. There are seasons to invest; there are seasons to enjoy the dividend. Understanding seasons would help one to make a proper use of the time available to him.
Understanding The Day: Many people don't understand that time runs with every second. That is why there are people who waste their day doing nothing when others are productively engaged. They don't know that every second wasted doing nothing will translate into a year without any tangible achievements.
Run With Time
Let your life goals come good. Apply some discipline in your dealings. Do the right thing at the right time. Ignore laziness. Be systematic in managing your day. Waste no time because time will not wait for you.
