Hi all, it is the 1st of October 2024, and we are right into the final 3 months of 2024. And being the first day of the month, it is Hive Power Up Day! I had a good break after being sent on a business trip to head office in Boise, USA and taking a short holiday before returning back to Singapore. It's been a great month on the persona front where I took a real break to catch up on sleep and all but it did took a little time off in Hive due to me doing a tech shut down on myself. But nevertheless I am back here to take part in Hive Power Up Day and show support to the blockchain that I spend a fair load of time each day on.
I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is an amazing community where everyone helps everyone and I and many others are testimonials of receiving help and support from various individuals from the community. And from there I continue to grow and lend support to others to help them grow as well.
Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where people come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up.

- Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
- With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
- Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up Month September 2024
In the month of September, due to a technology shutdown that I imposed on myself when I was overseas for work assignment and also on my short travels after the assignment, I missed being able to post daily for September. But rest assured I will come back stronger and charge towards a closure towards the year end.
My growth in HP in the month of September was actually not too bad considering I did not manage to post much for the bulk of month. It was a rather decent growth and it gained me a total of 298 HP, which I really think is great and help me with my growth no matter how and I can't thank the community more with your support.
To take part in Power Up Month, the key is discipline, consistency and also to prepare ahead. If you are able to do so, I am sure you can also be part of this amazing initiative as well. I broke my streak of 5 months consecutive power up months. Time to get myself back onto writing and continue growing my account and meet the goal I set for myself.
Will continue to keep my consistency in posting good content in the month of October and seeking your continued support as well!
Concluding
Thank you for all for your support in the month of September which allowed me to continue growing my Hive Power even when I took a little break as I was travelling. Do look out for my travel post that is likely to come soon within this month to know where I went during my travels. I am working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency in building of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! At this moment, I can safely say, it is slowly moving up and accumulating, not ready now but I hope we can soon a substantial amount of the minimum hive requirement for staking during HPUD
