Hi all, it is the 1st of January 2025, happy new year to all and it is also... Hive Power Up Day! What a year 2024 had been where there are so many breakthroughs and growth for me. I hope 2025 will also be another amazing year of growth not just for me but also for the blockchain. Let's continue to show our support for the blockchain we all love and a fair bit of time on and take part in Hive Power Up Day!
I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is just so unique where there is so much support found in it where people help and support one another. Loads of resources and information is being shared by the community and essentially, the blockchain is almost like an encyclopedia on its own.
Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!

By powering up our account, what does it bring?
- Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
- With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
- Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up December Month 2024
In the month of December, it was a month of really good growth which allowed me to surge my HP to cross the 10k mark and start the year well in 2025. While it was the festive season where everyone was busy getting ready for gatherings and family time, the growth was still amazing.
My growth in HP in the month of December manage to gathered me 649 HP which I am really glad to have all your support to allow me to grow to this amount, my sincere thanks to everyone!
I am so glad to be able to grow at such a magnitude to improve my influence in the blockchain.

Similar to November, I am part of the 32 people whom have been awarded this badge and I am really thankful for it.

Concluding
I am really thankful to be able to cross the 10k mark even right before Christmas. And with a new year starting, it is time to start putting together a goal to work towards throughout the year and give ourselves a direction on the growth. Hive is an amazing place to be with all the content you can find and growing in it is almost like 2nd nature.
I am working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency in building of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive, I am strengthening each source to ensure I have enough for power up for each month. And I also seek your every support to walk with me to meet this further stretched goal. Many of you have given me so much support to allow me to reach where I am today.
