Indeed, exactly. That's why I don't generally let people use my hardware unless I'm there with them.
Indeed it did. Where's my digital whip?!? πππβ¨π€

Maybe the farthest extent that you will let other people use your own hardware is that if they want to do quick online searches (on your laptop or phone) where you would be looking what they do. π€π€―
I don't think you have "your digital whip" when you haven't found or created one yet. π€―π

That's fairly true. If I do trust people, then as long as they know what they're doing, I'm usually fine with them doing other things too, as long as it does not impede me in doing what I need to do. I also run Arch Linux on my laptop, which very few people know how to navigate well, so in that case it's generally not an issue.
No, I don't. it's true, but I can sure hope! πππβ¨π€

Maybe if the people who ask to use your laptop just want to do quick online searches, you can just open a private window on your favorite web browser (either #Vivaldi or #Brave) on your laptop so that they can search right away. π€π§ββοΈπ€
Maybe ask borniet for a digital whip when he gets some available time to find or create one! π€π

Yep, private browser windows are very handy for sure for quick use like that!

However, you should make sure that your web browsing history doesn't (accidentally) show up on (private) browsing windows whenever you let others use your laptop! π€
Let's !HOPE that borniet's to-do list doesn't increase further in size and number of tasks! π€

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a private browser window? I'd sure hope that such a thing didn't happen.
Haha...his to-do list is always growing! We've got to start checking things off the list again! πππβ¨π€

A private browsing window on conventional web browsers simply deletes any data that may have been accumulated during the private browsing session (except bookmarks and downloads), though by default does not prevent the user from accessing the history (except cookies) of a normal (non-private browsing) window. π€―π
Hope you are able to start helping crossing off some tasks off borniet's to-do list! π€

Yep, I'm aware. I don't use private browser windows often, as it tends to get in the way of what I need to do.
That's the hope indeed. π π π β¨ π€
