It was last year Christmas when i decided to do some research about santa claus how it all began, that's where i discover the essence of Christmas, giving gifts and sharing love in one form or another, this was a kind gesture started by Saint Nicholas thousands of years ago, during the 3rd century, much admired for his piety nature and kindnesd, especially towards children, he was far more generous fave away all his inherited wealth and mostly travel the countryside helping the poor, vulnerable onces and the sick. One of st. Nicholas outstanding stories was how he saved three sisters from being sold into slavery by their father paying their dowry for them to be married
What we now call Santa Claus was actually his name Saint Nicholas which is now known as SANTA CLAUS.
Just this morning i heard the christmas song played over the Radio and i just giggled i'm like its already christmas, it was at this moment i realise the feeling of christmas, accompanied by the cold dry wind of the hamattan season in my country, since it doesn't snow here instead its the hamattan season that is predominant here.
There is this Joy and feeling we have about christmas, its all about excitment, joy, giving gift, expressing love, showing gratitude, sharing love in whatever measures we can, its wonderful.
I think Christmas is the best season of the year, its a season that resonates with everyone all over the world, its like a magnetic forces that spreads joy in the heart of everyone, no matter how difficult or how terrible and unsettling the entire year was, once its christmas there's this aura of joy, peace, calmness that settles in our hearts and allows you to relax and stay joyous.
Even if you don't have anything there's always that urge to give to put a smile on someone's face, to be a reason why someone is happy and joyful, i'm not sure if i have seen anybody sad during christmas.
Its a festivity period were friends, family, loved onces from far and near come together to celebrate, wine and dine amd reminisce on some good old memories....its a wonderful time of the year were joy is full in the hearts of everyone and people come together to celebrate make merry, hold feast party, get-together,
its a season of love, to reunite to bond family members who haven't seen or heard about each other, meet and unite in harmony and love, its a season of forgiveness, letting go of hurts and negative energies and love is rekindled among family, friends and loved ones...
I challenge everyone here on the hive blockchain to do something different this Chrismas, Be tge reason why someone smiles this xmass, don't just wait to recieve first before reciprocating go out there out a smile on someones face, share kindness, spread the love, show that little bit of gratitude in whatsoever measure you can, lets do more and better this CHRISTMAS
