Greetings!
Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance to my hive family. Looking back to the the events of this outgoing year 2024, makes me feel fulfilled, though there were ups and downs in this year 2024, but with the help of the Almighty God, I was able to maneuver my way through the thick and thins of this year. Though, not all I wished came to fruition, but atleast I was a blessed to accomplish 60% of what I budgeted for. Which to me is a pass mark.
Going into the new year, there are many things I wish to achieve, but before rolling out what I'm planning to achieve, let me just talk about how people, government or organizations always plan for the year ahead. We all know that going into the new year always come with alot of expectation and maybe that's why people come up with the idea of new year, new RESOLUTIONS. Though the resolution usually comes with a burning heart at first, but later, it turns cold. But not minding that, it's always expected to plan ahead for the new year and this is because," if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail." And seriously, the planning should be done before entering the new year and not when one have entered the new year.
Now, talking about the government, at all levels, they have their own way of planning ahead of a new year and in this part of the world, the government have started planning what and what should be in the new year and this can be seen through their presentation of next year budget to the various house of assemblies and representatives. Also, as for the private organizations, they too have started planning for the new year by having and setting their goals for the new year, talking about various individual, we also set our new year goals through making a new year resolution which is a welcome development.
Having prepared our mind toward how people, organizations and individuals set goals and prepare for the actualization of this set goals, I will now talk about three things i wish to do next year. Those things if put in place or actualized will sure define alot about me. What are those things?
Going into the new year, the first thing on my to do list is to boost my financial base, this would be done through the expansion of my businesses, this I have had in mind for quite sometime. Before now, I have been doing some petty business that is not giving me the required profit, so, going into the new year, I will try and look inward and see what I can do to doing a new business. In the new year, what I would do is to invest. So, i will do more of investment like business in the new year. What are those things to be invested to improve and get desired profit on my business (es)? The number one thing is to invest my time, idea,money, energy and so on.
I will try and make contact with people, so as to boost my business base. My supplying business will be improved on next year. I will print business cards and publicize it more than what I did this year. Though I tried my best this year, but I will have to do more next year. So, that my customer base will increase,, while supplying my sand, stone dust and granite.
Also, another plan of mine is to go agricultural, this I will do in a special way. The first thing I will do, is to do plantain plantation, after that, I will do piggery and buying and selling of palm oil in large quantity will be at the top of the chart. Though in years back, I have started to think of how to sell my palm oil to companies or even export it outside the country, but I was unable to do so, due to the outbreak of the covid19. But in the new year, I will revisit and review the plan and see what I can do about it.
While doing that, another thing on the list is to buy shares. While making the money, I will try to re invest it into buying of shares from companies so as to boost my financial capacity. This outgoing year has been full of financial embarrassment for me, so, I want to really build my financial base next year.
So, lastly in the coming year, another of my plan is to start a mini real estate, buying maybe an acre of land, keep it for the meantime and start to sell when it appreciate. One thing I know about this is that it will not depreciate but only appreciate even if it's little.
So, going by all stated about, these are my plans towards achieving a new height next. Remember you can keep on doing the same thing the same way and be expecting a different result. It's not possible at. So, I will like to do things differently next year.
How do I get fund? That's what I'm working on. Though, I don't even have any fund right now, but only thinking of bringing people onboard to partner with, and there's a way we will go about it and at the end, everyone would go home with something meaningful for their investment.
So, going by these and many more are my plans and projects for the incoming year.
