Hello friends. I’m here today bringing you my entry to the Ladies of Hive contest for the week.
Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself and how do they do so?
Our parents are not just the one’s who gave birth to us but they are our mini gods and people we should always look up to. If you see a kid behave in one way or the other, have it in mind that they learned this attitude either from their mother, father or whoever they are living with.
I’ve always been a daddy’s girl and I’ve been close to him since day one and he inspires me a lot to be the best version of myself. He does this in various ways and even makes me proud to be his daughter.
He does this by telling us to be truthful all the time and always stand by our words. If you do the right thing, you won’t be shy to stand by it. You don’t have to live for anyone or do things to impress people because you want them to like you. Be yourself everyday and be the best version of yourself. Whatever you do, make sure you put in your best.
My dad doesn’t just tell me things but he acts this way too which makes it easy for me to also inculcate that attitude.
Let’s get to the second part of my entry.
Giving back is important. With that in mind, how do you support the other women in your life?
Helping other women is something I do almost all the time. This may not be in the financial way but may be emotional and all.
As a woman, I have got to realize that a lot of us are not emotionally stable and we usually the experience mood swing but during this period is the time that I help to understand fellow women like me and help them ease some stress that they go through.
I have also gone as far as getting pain relief drugs for a friend of mine when she was having menstrual pain. This can be little but I’m sure it goes a long way.
Also, I’m always interested in cases where women are being molested or experiencing domestic violence. I support my fellow women in cases like this because it feels very sad to see a woman like me go through such pain.
I support my fellow women with the little I have and I always get support from them when I need them too.
