It always feels good to get a different look. For me the hair determines the beauty of the face along with other things so it's really good to take care of the hair.
In Nigeria there are so many methods that we use to care for our hair and this includes braiding and styling.
In this post I'm going to share with you, how I got my new hair style and what it feels like!
Since braiding has become part of our lives mostly due to the hair conditions, we have always embraced it and made the best out of it.
So whenever I want a braid, I walk straight to my hairdresser and tell her what style I'd love to get.
So that was what I did.
First I searched for hairstyles on Pinterest, I wanted a "Pick and drop style" so I made the search and found what soothes me.
Well, I showed it to the stylist and we both agreed on the price.
She started with hair treatment first and that comes with applying relaxers and washing the hair thoroughly
After washing she let the hair dry, after the hair dries is when she can begin making the braids, she couldn't use the dryer because there's no light, so we waited for the har to dry and she also used a hand fan to support it. And soon it was very dry.
Then she applied some cream and began with the braid. I brought the material for the braid, this time I decided to use what we call Multi for the braids.
At this point it was progressing well but I was already tired of sitting in one position 😆🙃, it hurts though. Often I stood for a while and sat again, though stylists don't like such things but I had to do it hehe. It took about 5 hours to complete this my braid, after she trimmed he hair properly and everything was good. And below is how it turned out
I totally loved it when it was done, I chose the color and style of the hair and the stylist delivered very well.
Getting a new hairstyle makes me happy because I feel a renewed beauty 😊.
This one will last for at least a month or more before I make another one.
I hope you also like my new hairstyle 🤗. Thank you for reading....
