¡Hola hivers!💜

English

Hi hivers! 💜

I hope you are well and happy, dear ladies. It's been a while since I've been in this wonderful community, although I'm always looking forward to reading you. This time, the questions of the initiative of the week made me click, since they both talk about happiness.

First, I must say that I have learned that happiness is not the same for everyone, but we are talking about a state of satisfaction and bliss. Maybe what generates happiness for me is not the same as for you, but in the end we both feel happy.

Am I happier today than in the past? I think so, but not because I was unhappy before, but because my version today has learned a lot about myself, about letting go of things that made me bitter and gave me anxiety unnecessarily, about letting go of control and letting everything flow, understanding that you can be happy even if not everything is exactly right, but sometimes it is about that: feeling calm in the middle of the storm.

What brings me true happiness and how important is it for me to pursue it? First, I have learned that happiness is not to be pursued, because that constant search to be happy in the end only ends up overwhelming you and in some cases even embittering you, so you are zero happy in the pursuit.

I am happy with little things: a hug from my grandfather, good company, a coffee with friends, a beer with my mom, laughter, that you give me something (even if it is minimal) but that reminds you of me, all those little things make me happy. I'm happy helping, even if it makes me tired, being part of something that is important to someone I love.

In this life, after waiting for everything to be perfect, to have the house of my dreams, the job of my dreams, the love of my dreams, to be happy, I have had to learn to be happy with whatever there is at the moment, because dear ladies: life is a little while and you have to live it beautifully.

Thank you for reading me
With love, G.
