A passion burning deep inside my wooden heart: pyrography!

Hey ladies of Hive!

What is your number one passion, the thing you do that makes you feel the most happy, peaceful, or satisfied? Contest
I wanted to share with you my number one passion: woodburning. I only started 4 months ago and now I can't stop anymore. Every time I finish a piece of art I am so satisfied, and the process itself helps me relax. I am burning a bit every day before going to sleep.

I really enjoy making gifts for my friends and family and thanks to my new passion I have made really nice gifts lately:

A personalized wooden frame for my friend who became a mom
A personalized beer bottle opener
A personalized wooden coat rack
Personalized wooden coasters
Some wooden cutting boards

This beautiful sunset is the last creation I made. I find my inspiration, mostly on Instagram and Pinterest. I am really proud of it, so I hope you like it!

Right now, I am still burning with a basic woodburning tool I bought online for 30 dollars. This tool is great for beginners. But now, I am saving up for the "RazerTip". This wood-burning tool will allow me to put a lot more details into my creations. Hopefully, I will be able to buy it soon!

Last: I have one piece of advice for everyone who would like to start: protect yourself with fingertips and a mask. 😊

Creative hobby to enjoy relaxing you, no wonder it became a passion I have seen some locals doing portraits on wood and it looks amazing!
