The home is our palace. I treat mine as such. I love my house and always want it to be the way I would love. It is pleasurable when one comes into one's home and looking around he/she becomes pleased with the settings and adornments of the house. Making our homes look beautiful and attractive is good.
The interior of the house holds a lot of contributions to the happiness of those occupying the house. I take pleasure in seeing my interior decorations beautiful and well fixed. We might not have much money to acquire the much sophisticated and costly interior decorations but the little I have to take pleasure in making them look good.
I often change the curtains on the windows of our house. Every Saturday, I usually go around checking the ones that have been torn or dirty so that I can fix it again. I have learned how to sew clothes so I used that idea to sew new curtains and repair the torn ones.
Another thing I usually repair in my home are the children's dresses. Children are playful and because of their playful nature they usually damage their dresses. When checking around, I easily notice tears on their school uniforms and other dresses. When I notice such, I quickly take them to my sewing machine and got them mended.
There are many things we can repair in the home. Some of us are courageous enough to even climb the roof of the house to make repairs. Some can work on the electrical fittings. But I don't have such courage and I can undertake some dangerous repairs. I leave those for my husband. The little ones I know how to do, I don't hesitate in fixing them.
