Hello all! Well here we are, the half-way point. It’s all downhill from here. 2025 will be here before we know it!
Today we have another #myhivegoals post and my Hive Power-Up Day (HPUD) post all in one. Thank you to @jongolson for starting the Hive Goals series and thanks to… hmm..whoever started the HPUD series. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my power-up for HPUD! I powered up 300 HIVE this time. It would have been more, but RUG took my attention last week. Next month it will be more, especially if the price of HIVE stays low.
So there we go, 300!
But I have also been powering up 10–20 HIVE everyday, meaning I also made HPUM for last month, so that real number is around 500+. Not a bad sum to be powering up in a month’s time.
Now moving on to my Hive Goals…
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 35k Hive.
Last week I made 275.9, which, when combined with my 300 HP power-up, brings me to 29,000.64 total Hive Power. That’s 82.9% of my goal! As last week, I powered up 20 HIVE everyday last week, so that’s not exactly an accurate earnings number. But HIVE has been cheap, so I’ve been buying and using it!
Math time. 35k - 29,000.64 gives us 5999.36. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 32.6 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.
Finally some progress! That 32.6 is much better than the 34.7 from last week. Maybe I’ll be able to meet my goal after all.
Let’s move on to the 2nd layer tokens.
Second Layer Tokens
Token | Last week total | Goal | Needed | Note |
---|---|---|---|---|
— | 2000 | 0 | Goal Met | |
BRO | 0.364 | 1000 | 456.2612 | 54.4% of the way there! |
PIMP | 414.41 | 100k | 18306.69 | 81.7% of the way there! |
CINE | 234.523 | — | — |
All the earnings were close to the average. Nothing unusual there. If I do reach my Hive Power goal before the end of the year, I’ll focus more on these.
Rug
But as mentioned above, I did use some money that might have otherwise gone towards my HP this week on buying a bit of RUG. This one could be good! It will pay in DBOND. I’m undecided if I will sell some of that DBOND to take profits or reroll it by staking it to get DAB (which I will then be able to stake for more DBOND).
If you are curious, the public sale just started a few days ago. See the post here.
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Still under $30. The start of the week looked promising. Nasty dip there in the middle, but it did start to recover towards the end. Let’s see if this week continues the trend!
As I was pulling up that chart on the APMEX website, I saw this coin on sale!
Very nice. The dragon on the front is only so-so, but that back is cool. Interesting that they put the i ching hexagrams there. I know next to nothing about the i ching, so I have no idea what the meaning of these are. Interesting to see, though!
If you like that coin, get it here.
Giveaway
That stuff out of the way, let’s do our SBI drawing! If you are new here, I give away 5 shares of SBI every week to commenters on this post. If you also reblog and comment you get a second entry and double the award (if you win).
So how about this week? Let’s see… last post we had comments from @arc-echo @bitcoinman @bozz @coinjoe @dkid14 @kerrislravenhill @mdasein @servelle [x2] @shawnnft @silverd510 @silversaver888 @stekene [x2] @thebighigg @tht @vaynard86 [x2].
And the winners are…
@silversaver888 @stekene [x2] @bozz @thebighigg @bitcoinman!
Congratulations, everyone!
And forward we go! It was a strong week. Let’s see how this coming one goes!
