Now THAT is a very nice set of great and especially powerful words! And can’t but agree with all of them! ;-)

Sort:

I'm grateful that you appreciate them, and excellent! I'd also toss in tenacity! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yes indeed! Tenacity definitely also belongs to the list!! ;-)
Let’s tenaciously head for Whaleness :-D

Tenacity allows us to make things happen, no matter what! Yes, with unwavering tenacious determination, we march irrevocably and indomitably whaleward, ho! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Wow man! I’m extending my vocabulary by chatting with you!!! I had never heard of “indomitably” before ;-)
Thank you! ;-)

That's wondering to hear, @borniet! I love language, and languages, so any that I learn or know, I want to use with excellence. English is a huge language, with so many nuanced ways to say things, biased as it is, as all languages are, in certain areas of life over others. I love a back-and-forth of learning! I love the words 'indomitable' and 'indomitably'! You're deeply welcome, brother, I'm grateful to share! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Very much appreciated!!!
Same here, I love languages, and love learning new languages as well. I don’t speak as many as fluent as I want yet, but working on that :-)
Yes indeed, English is quite a huge language, it’s about 2-3 times as big as Dutch, vocabulary wise. And funny enough, sometimes there are different words in Dutch that all have only one corresponding word in English. But as you say, biased in certain areas of life…

I also love learning languages, and I learn them quickly when I put my focus on them. I feel stunted because I don't speak at least 10 languages fluently yet...lol!

The example that you give of several Dutch words corresponding only one English word is because these are areas of differing levels of meaning for the speakers. In Dutch, there can be many nuanced words to describe one area of life. But in English, where this area of life is not as important, they gloss over it with a single word. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yes indeed, different focus, different words :-) Is it the Inuit that have like 20 different words for snow? And in Zimbabwe they have like 1 maybe :-D
